Returning To deviantART In 2016

I'll keep this short & sweet.
I'll be returning in January of 2016 after having been on hiatus for over a year.
I've missed a lot since I've been gone, and a lot has changed in my life. 
I'll need some help getting re-accustomed to everything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. 
I'll see you all soon, and I've got plenty to share with you all.

CMWVA is now Dormant on dA

.:: Hello, Friends ::.


I do very much miss all of my followers and friends on deviantART.
But as much as I'd like to say I'll be back, I can no longer be certain of this.
I am now in an art school, pursuing photography as a career.
I haven't made a fractal in over eight months.
I haven't drawn anything of my own volition in over a year.
I simply no longer have the time to juggle deviantART along with everything else.
(odd, considering this is where I started in the first place)

I want to thank all of you.
For putting up with my silly remarks,
My long rants,
My outlandish ambitions,
My username changes (for the better, of course),
And for sticking around for over five years,
To see me grow as an artist. 


I've made a lot of progress in my life,
And I thank all of you immensely,
For giving me the motivation to do so.

All that said, I will not delete my account.
I won't remove my works or prints.
I'll still even respond to comments from time to time.
But from this point on, I will rarely - if at all - be submitting to deviantART anymore.
No, I'd never made it to my goal of five (or was it seven?) DD's, or to Senior Member classification.
But I don't need to.
I'm happy with what I've done here.
I hope you are, as well.

So I thank you all for a wonderful half a decade.
I've made more friends on this site than anywhere else.
I won't forget it.

I NEED YOUR HELP!

I'm putting a portfolio together, since I'm in a new area, and going to a new school. The school is the Northwest School of the Arts (NSA/NWSA). As a requirement, I need to 'audition', by sending in a portfolio of my best work. I want to include ONE fractal, but I need one that compliments the portfolio the best. I need YOUR help to pick out the best fractal I have ever submitted. 

So if you could help me out, COMMENT BELOW the thumbnail or title of your favourite fractal from my gallery. To save time for me, if someone has already left a comment with the one you've chosen, REPLY TO THEM "Seconded" and I'll tally it. The top 3-5 choices will go into a poll later on for everyone to choose from.

Why I'm Not Around

Anybody that has been vigilant since I first started here know that once I'm on a roll, I'm almost unstoppable. There was a time where I'd post 5 fractals a day. And now I believe it's been over half a year since I last posted fractals, and a bit less time since I'd last posted at all. I've been trying to find a reason why. I think it's because of the recent moving around and the turmoil in my home since the end of last (this) school year. Everything's uneven right now and I'm jumping around between Virginia and North Carolina a lot, so I'm trying to handle things at home and with trying to start work and all. 

I'm going to submit some photos today. Maybe I can get back into it. If I start it off right it should become a habit again.
