WHAT IS DEVIANT DISCOVERY?
Deviant Discovery is a weekly Journal Feature that focuses specifically on Deviants that have good art, but haven't gotten much attention for it. Every week, a new Deviant will be chosen, and a few of their artworks will be show in this Journal, along with a description of the artist themselves. This weekly feature will serve as an attempt to get under-appreciated artists more attention then they already have.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It will work in a similar way to Daily Deviations - either I could select a Deviant myself, or someone could be suggested by another Deviant. Once a Deviant is chosen, we'll find their best five Deviations to be featured in the Journal. Then, we'll give a short description of the artist's work, and a small explanation of why they were chosen. The feature will remain on the front of my page for seven days [168 hours; one week], so that the Deviant can get continuous attention. Suggestions could be sent to me via notes, or comments on the Deviant Discovery Journals. There are preferences on suggestions, which can be viewed below.
YOUR HELP
The more attention this gets, the better. Tell your Watchers, have them tell their Watchers, and so on. The more people we can get to see this, the better, that way the artists featured can get the attention they deserve. I appreciate anything you can do to help, because frankly, I can't do much on my own. Send in all the suggestions you want, but make them serious. Advertise in your Journals if you can, but don't spam people. And last but not least, check out the weekly updates!

Of course, we don't want you suggesting just any random Deviants. We're looking for specific Deviants. Please note that these are "Preferences", as in, I would "prefer" that these apply to the Deviant, but these aren't entirely necessary.

Please make sure the Deviant you have suggested is still on dA. If they have moved accounts, please suggest their newest account. We do not want dead accounts. How can you tell if their account is dead? If they haven't been online for the last 40 weeks, they're most likely not using deviantART anymore. Check their Journals to see if they've left, or if they're on vacation. Also, make sure the art belongs to them. Art thieves will not be featured. Ever. And as for Deviants that submit mature content [artistic nudes, fetish art, etc], the Deviant Discovery Journal will be marked with "+18".
When suggesting Deviants, suggest as if you were suggesting a Daily Deviation. Pick Deviants that have put effort into their work, Deviants that deserve attention. We don't want people that post random webcam pictures of themselves all day [no offense]. We want ARTISTS! So please, suggest as much as you want, but keep that in mind.
